I don’t post many things about what I do in my personal life outside the world of planning a wedding, but this is just too great of news to hold in.

Last week I interviewed for a position at my current hotel. I was nervous beyond all belief, not only because it’s something I really wanted, but also because I was up against four other internal candidates.

This morning my assistant general manager offered me the job! I am now the new Event Coordinator at Marriott!!  I am beyond excited! I officially start the Monday after my bridal shower, but between now and then whenever we have some down time at the desk I’m going to head back and get some training in!

On to new adventures!!
